Terms of service

Last updated Nov 8, 2026. These terms are between you and Helios One Oy (business ID 3596623-5), the Finnish company that runs closurelead.

The service

closurelead sends you a list of public government records near a territory you choose: permanent plant-closure WARN notices, new business bankruptcy petitions, and the OSHA and EPA records we match to them. Each row links to its record. A territory is one yard plus a radius up to 250 miles.

What the records do and don't prove

• A WARN notice says an employer plans to close a site. The planned effective date can move.
• "Employees affected" is the count in the notice, not the size of the site.
• A Chapter 11 case is usually a reorganization, not a sale.
• Nothing in the list says what a site holds, who owns it, or whether anything will be sold.
• Records can be wrong at the source. Check the linked record before you act on it, and tell us when you find a wrong one.

Trial

• The free trial lasts 30 days and needs no card.
• When the trial ends: Nothing is charged. While card checkout is closed, nothing pauses. Once it opens, without a plan, CSV and PDF exports and the weekly email pause at the trial's end, never sooner than 7 days after card checkout opens, and your list stays readable on the web.

Price, billing and cancellation

• $299/mo per territory. Founding price $199/mo, locked for 12 months, for the first 10 accounts.
• A founding price stays the same for 12 months from your first paid month, while the plan stays active.
• Helios One Oy (business ID 3596623-5) bills plans monthly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe.
• Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again.
• If we ever close closurelead, we email you at least 30 days before it closes and refund the unused part of any month you paid for.
• We tell you by email before a price change takes effect for you.

Fair use

• Use the list for your own business. Don't resell it or republish it as a data feed.
• Don't use it to contact individuals about personal matters.
• How you contact a business, and the laws that apply to that, are up to you. Nothing on closurelead is legal advice.
• Don't try to break, overload or scrape the service.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself; each person uses their own. You can close your account at any time by writing to us.

No warranty

The list is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and say how each number is made, but we don't promise any record, outcome or piece of work will come of it. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

Changes

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for your account, we email you before it takes effect.
