The numbers behind the row7 findings near ZIP 91761; California: a median 61 days from EDD logging a notice to the employer's planned date; Pennsylvania: 13 confirmed sites on L&I's Nov 2025 to Oct 2026 lists (page read Nov 7, 2026)

7 findings, 3 with 50 or more employees affected

Within about 150 miles of ZIP 91761 (Ontario, CA), made public from Oct 8 to Nov 7, 2026 (EDD's latest file runs to Nov 4). Of those 3, OSHA or EPA records confirm 2; 1 rests on EDD's sector code alone. Closures are not daily news, so the trial is 30 days.

California: median 61 days

From EDD logging a notice to the employer's planned effective date: 38 sites, Jul 1 to Nov 4, 2026 (min 42, max 174). The date is the employer's plan and can move.

Pennsylvania: 13 confirmed sites

Closure notices on L&I's Nov 2025 to Oct 2026 lists (page read Nov 7, 2026), at sites an OSHA or EPA record confirms as industrial; 38 more were left out for want of such a record. L&I gives a listing month, not a notice date, so there is no Pennsylvania lead time. PA L&I WARN notices

What one territory includes

Included

WARN closures and business bankruptcy petitions near your yard, each site checked, a Monday email, a record on every row
  • WARN closure notices at industrial sites in your radius: California notices EDD marks "Closure Permanent", Pennsylvania notices L&I marks "Closure" or "Closing".
  • Each site checked against OSHA and EPA records and marked confirmed or not confirmed (16 of the 38 California sites since Jul 1 are listed as not confirmed).
  • Business Chapter 7 and 11 petitions from the 14 bankruptcy courts we poll, marked "by name only": placed only when the debtor's exact name matches exactly one industrial site with a street address in OSHA records in the court's state (EPA ECHO records too, for courts in California and Pennsylvania), and that site is inside the yard's radius (35 captured since Nov 6, 2026).
  • The Monday email, your list on the web, and CSV and PDF export.
  • A link to the government record on every row, and a "Wrong record?" button.
  • Your yard and a radius of 50, 100, 150 or 250 miles.

Not included

Contacts, other states, layoffs, same-day news, what a site holds, a reserved territory
  • Contact names or phones: the notice names an official (20 CFR 639.7), but EDD's and L&I's lists leave them out, and so do we. The one name we do show: a bankruptcy trustee, when the court feed names one (no phone).
  • WARN notices from other states. Your ZIP's result names the states in your radius we don't read.
  • Layoff notices, California temporary closures, non-industrial sites, and Pennsylvania closures no OSHA or EPA record confirms (38 on L&I's Nov 2025 to Oct 2026 lists).
  • Same-day news. EDD's workbook says it is updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Anything about what a site holds. A notice is a plan to close, on a date that can move.
  • A reserved territory. Another buyer can watch the same area.

Trial, billing and cancelling

The trial
30 days, no card, with the same Monday email, web list and exports as a paying account. The days start at your first sign-in, or when you download your area's list with a work email.
When the trial ends
Nothing is charged. While card checkout is closed, nothing pauses. Once it opens, without a plan, CSV and PDF exports and the weekly email pause at the trial's end, never sooner than 7 days after card checkout opens, and your list stays readable on the web.
Paying
Monthly, per territory, by card through Stripe, once checkout opens. We never see your card number.
Cancelling
In Billing, any time. No call, no notice period, no fee. You keep access to the end of the month you paid for; there are no partial-month refunds. After that, CSV and PDF exports and the weekly email pause, and your list stays readable.
Your data
Your account and territory stay until you ask us to delete them. The privacy page says how.
A second yard
One subscription covers one territory. For a second yard, ask for a call.

Before you pay

Will a competitor get the same rows?

Possibly. These are public records anyone can read, and a territory is not reserved for one buyer. What you pay for is the work: the closure notices filtered to manufacturing, wholesale and transportation sites in your radius, each site checked against OSHA and EPA records, and the record linked on every row.

Does a closure notice mean anything will be sold?

No. A notice says the employer plans to close a site, on a date that can move. It says nothing about what the site holds, who owns it, or what will happen to it.

Why does it cost more than WARNTracker and less than Plant Closing Report?

WARNTracker sends every new WARN notice from 45 states and DC, in every industry, for $250/mo (warntracker.com/pricing, read Nov 7, 2026). We cover California and Pennsylvania only, but keep just the closure notices (California notices EDD marks "Closure Permanent", Pennsylvania notices L&I marks "Closure" or "Closing") at manufacturing, wholesale and transportation sites in your radius, and check each site against OSHA and EPA records, marking the ones they don't confirm. Plant Closing Report includes named contacts with direct emails and phone numbers for $400 to $500/mo (plantclosing.report, read Nov 7, 2026). We include no contacts.

How accurate is it?

On Nov 6, 2026, a separate check, with code that shares nothing with our engine, re-derived 15 of 15 random findings from the official files, and every date, count, address, industry code and distance matched. In that re-check, 206 of 206 cited record links resolved. In the first check, earlier that day, the same kind of separate check re-derived 30 of 30 sampled findings from the official files, and all matched. A record can still be wrong at the source; each row in your list has a "Wrong record?" button for reporting it.

Where the numbers on this page come from

Numbers about the records: closurelead engine run 20261107T2147Z-6a6d06ea (Nov 7, 2026 21:47 UTC), computed from government records and read from the app's facts feed when this page was built. Our prices come from one price file; the app uses the same values. Competitor prices come from each linked page, read on the date shown. "Where it stands today": the sign-in and weekly email lines are read from the app when this page is built (whether its email goes out); the Monday times are the engine machine's schedule and the app's email job; the engine run moves to "Works now" once the run this page prints came from that Monday schedule; card checkout follows our deploy settings. How the engine defines each count, in plain words: Where the data comes from.

What a row is. California: a notice EDD marks "Closure Permanent", one row per site, at a site EDD files under manufacturing, wholesale or transportation (NAICS 31-33, 42, 48-49) or that OSHA or EPA list as industrial; confirmed when an OSHA or EPA record lists the business at that address. Pennsylvania: the newest notice per site that L&I marks "Closure" or "Closing", kept only when an OSHA or EPA record lists the employer there with such a code (L&I lists no industry). Bankruptcy: a business Chapter 7 or 11 petition; the feeds carry no debtor address, so a petition is placed only on the name match under Included and its row says "by name only". A Chapter 11 debtor in possession usually has no trustee; the docket itself needs a PACER login.

  3. Pennsylvania: 13 confirmed sites, 38 left out: PA L&I notices marked "Closure" or "Closing", statewide, on L&I's Nov 2025 to Oct 2026 lists (page read Nov 7, 2026). Records: pa.govdata.dol.govecho.epa.gov
