# closurelead > A weekly feed for industrial auction houses, liquidators and forklift and used-equipment dealers: plant-closure WARN notices near their yard, checked against OSHA and EPA records, each linked to its government record. A new business Chapter 7 or 11 bankruptcy petition from the court feeds is added only when the debtor's exact name matches exactly one industrial site with a street address in OSHA records in the court's state (EPA ECHO records too, for courts in California and Pennsylvania), and that site is inside the yard's radius. It reads California and Pennsylvania WARN notices today, so it has results only for a yard whose chosen radius reaches one of those two states. Every row, and every count of records, comes from public government records: California EDD and Pennsylvania L&I WARN notices, U.S. Bankruptcy Court RSS feeds, DOL OSHA inspection data, EPA ECHO facility data, and the Census Geocoder and Gazetteer. Distances are straight lines to the Census address match, or to the ZIP center or EPA's facility point when Census can't place the street. To read a city name you type, the lookup also uses GeoNames postal codes (CC BY 4.0); that places your yard and is never the source of a row. A deterministic program fetches each source, joins each notice to the OSHA and EPA records at the same address, and writes each row from the record's own fields. Where it works: a territory is one yard plus a radius up to 250 miles. Results appear only when California or Pennsylvania is inside the radius you pick (up to 250 miles); anywhere else the tool says "not covered" and shows no rows, bankruptcy petitions included, so a yard in Dallas, Chicago, Milwaukee or Indianapolis gets no results today. WARN notices come from California and Pennsylvania only. A closure notice is one EDD marks "Closure Permanent" in California, or one PA L&I marks "Closure" or "Closing" in Pennsylvania (L&I does not say whether a closure is permanent). Bankruptcy petitions are new business Chapter 7 and 11 petitions from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court RSS feeds. The 14 courts polled in this run (courts_polled below): C.D. Cal., E.D. Cal., N.D. Cal., S.D. Cal., E.D. Pa., W.D. Pa., D. Del., N.D. Ill., S.D. Ind., E.D. Mich., N.D. Ohio, S.D. Ohio, N.D. Tex., E.D. Wis. The court feeds don't give the debtor's address, so a petition is added to a list only when the debtor's exact name matches exactly one industrial site with a street address in OSHA records in the court's state (EPA ECHO records too, for courts in California and Pennsylvania), and that site is inside the yard's radius; the row says "by name only". A Chapter 7 case with a "No Asset" notice is counted in business_petitions_seen but left off territory lists. Courts we don't poll, or whose feeds we can't read: https://closurelead.com/data-sources#not-covered. What a record does not prove: the planned effective date in a WARN notice is the employer's plan and can move. "Employees affected" counts the people the notice names, not the size of the site. A notice says nothing about equipment or how anything will be sold. A Chapter 11 petition is usually a reorganization. A site is marked confirmed only when OSHA or EPA ECHO lists a business at that address under a manufacturing, wholesale or transportation and warehousing code (so warehouses and couriers count as industrial), under the filer's name or the name on an earlier closure notice for the site; otherwise it is marked not confirmed. What closurelead is not: it covers WARN notices in California and Pennsylvania only, not the whole US. It is not a contact list: the notice an employer sends names a company contact (20 CFR 639.7), but the state lists we read (EDD's report and PA L&I's page) leave it out, so we have none, and we don't sell contact lists. For a bankruptcy petition, the row names the trustee only when the docket names one (usually Chapter 7). It is not an equipment listing service, and it makes no claim about what is inside a site or how anything there will be sold. Delivery today: from Monday Nov 9, 2026, the engine refreshes every source each Monday, 06:00-13:00 UTC, and the Monday email follows at 14:00 UTC; a week with no new run sends no email. The email goes to every account in its trial or on a plan, and the same list is on the web and in CSV and PDF. Card checkout is not open yet, so nobody is billed today. How often the sources change: court feeds are polled every 6 hours, because each keeps only about a day of entries. EDD replaces its WARN file on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the PA page changes when L&I edits it, DOL posted a new bulk OSHA inspection file on each of Nov 5, 6 and 7, 2026, and EPA ECHO refreshes weekly. When this run last fetched each one is under "Source freshness (same run)" below. Price: $299/mo per territory. Founding price $199/mo, locked for 12 months, for the first 10 accounts. 30-day free trial, no card. When the trial ends: Nothing is charged. While card checkout is closed, nothing pauses. Once it opens, without a plan, CSV and PDF exports and the weekly email pause at the trial's end, never sooner than 7 days after card checkout opens, and your list stays readable on the web. Start the trial: https://app.closurelead.com/login?trial=1&next=%2Fterritory (you sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email; no card). Read from https://fine-cow-243.convex.site/api/facts when this file was built (2026-11-08 08:56 UTC); every page on closurelead.com prints its numbers from this same run. No number in this block is typed by hand or written by an AI model. The three check figures (gate_hand_check_sample, gate_hand_check_first, gate_urls_resolved) are not computed from records: the engine copies them from its release-gate report, GATE.md, which is in a private repository, so their Records link is the public page that prints the same results and every checked row (https://closurelead.com/data-sources#checks). Each entry gives the value, what it counts (the engine's own definition; where that wording disagrees with what the engine counts, the corrected wording, flagged on a "Corrected wording" line), its date window, the records it comes from and the run that computed it. Keys are the engine's canonical siteFacts keys. - ca_lead_days_median: 61 (n = 38, min 42, max 174).
